A Midnight Purple III R34 GT-R sourced from Yokohama and built around one of the rarest RB26 blocks there is: an HKS Hideck drag block, one of an estimated 20 to 50 made, converted for street use. The target was at least 600 bhp with a car that stays comfortable from street to circuit.
The engine build pairs a new Nismo 24U block and custom steel liners with the Hideck deck plate, new HKS High Response pistons, bearings measured and matched by hand, and cylinder heads CNC ported by Blackbird Technical Service. An HKS GT3-4R turbo, HKS Vcam, an Altrack sound-tuned exhaust manifold, Nismo carbon charge pipes and a Motec engine management and dash package finish it, with an ATS carbon differential and a Greddy deep sump underneath. The tuning came last.
