Performance Mods & Tuning

If you're looking to elevate your driving experience, odds are we've engineered it before. We specialize in extracting real performance without compromise: upgrades that hold together on the track, behave on the street, and do what we said they'd do.
WHAT WE MODIFY

Every system that makes a car quick.

§01

Engine and software

Intake, exhaust, and calibration matched to each other and to your fuel, your climate, and your goals. Power you can use every day, not just claim.
§02

Suspension and handling

Coilovers, sway bars, bushings, and geometry set up for how and where you actually drive, from daily comfort to track alignment settings.
§03

Braking

Pads, rotors, lines, and fluid chosen for your use, because the fastest car in the group should also be the one that stops.
§04

Drivetrain

Clutches, limited-slip differentials, and mounts that put the new power down without turning the car harsh.
§05

Wheels, tires and fitment

The single biggest performance upgrade on most cars. Sizing, offset, and compound chosen for grip, clearance, and Alberta's seasons.
§06

Track preparation

Safety equipment, cooling, and inspection for lapping days and time attack, set up by people who use their own track time to test what they sell.
How It Works

Goals first. Parts second.

01

Define the goal

Daily with an edge, weekend canyon car, or dedicated track build. The goal decides the parts list, never the other way around.
02

Engineer the package

We spec components that work together and tell you plainly what each one will and won't change. No catalogue padding.
03

Install, test, verify

Fitted by factory-trained technicians, then road or track verified against the goal we set together. You get documentation of what was done and how it performed.

Why Alpine Autowerks

Enthusiasts with torque wrenches.

  • We drive what we build. Track experience informs every recommendation, because a spec sheet can't tell you how a car feels at the limit.

  • System thinking. Power, braking, cooling, and grip upgraded in balance, so the car stays trustworthy as it gets faster.

  • Factory-trained installation. Performance parts deserve the same torque specs and discipline as factory ones. They get it here.

  • Honest scoping. If a modification won't achieve what you want, we say so before you pay for it, not after.

Engineered for Elevation

Custom tuning and fabrication tailored for Alberta’s unique climate.

Building a fast car in Calgary requires more than just ordering parts from a catalog; it requires an understanding of how our 3,500-foot altitude and drastic temperature swings affect engine dynamics. Thinner air means naturally aspirated engines lose power, which is why we specialize in precision forced induction systems and bespoke ECU calibrations. We engineer your upgrades to maximize power delivery, ensure safe air-to-fuel ratios, and maintain daily drivability across all four of Alberta's seasons.

  • Altitude-Specific Calibration: Custom ECU mapping designed specifically for Calgary's atmospheric pressure, ensuring reliable, knock-free power.

  • Precision Forced Induction: Expert installation and tuning of turbochargers and superchargers to overcome the power deficit of thin mountain air.

  • Bespoke Fabrication: In-house custom TIG welding for exhausts, downpipes, and intercooler piping, ensuring perfect fitment and maximum flow.

Common Questions

Modifications can affect warranty coverage on related components, and honesty matters here more than sales talk. We'll tell you what each change realistically means for your coverage before you decide.

Yes, if it's built to be. Most of our builds are daily drivers with sharpened edges. We tune for drivability first and tell you plainly when a part crosses into track-only compromise territory.

With the conversation, not the catalogue. Tires, brakes, and suspension usually transform a car more than power does, and we'll map an order of operations that fits your budget.

We build to keep cars road-legal and advise on anything that affects emissions equipment or noise regulations. Insurance disclosure is between you and your insurer, and we recommend having that conversation.

Case by case. We'll install customer-supplied parts we can stand behind, and we'll decline the ones we can't, with an explanation either way.
