Replace pads when they are measured near their wear limit, rotors when they reach minimum thickness or are damaged, and brake fluid on the time interval in your factory schedule. A dash warning, squealing, vibration or a soft pedal all mean it is time to have them measured, not guessed at.
Pads and the warning light
Most European cars have electronic wear sensors in the pads. When a pad wears down to the sensor, a brake warning appears on the dash.
The light means book a visit soon. It does not tell you how the other pads are doing, or whether the rotors are still within specification.
At every visit we measure pads, rotors and lines against specification and report remaining life in numbers.

Rotors: measured, not assumed
Every rotor has a minimum thickness. Below it, the rotor cannot shed heat properly and has to be replaced.
Vibration through the pedal or the steering wheel under braking is another reason to have rotors checked.
Rotors do not automatically need replacing with every set of pads. We replace parts when needed, never before.

Brake fluid is the one people forget
Brake fluid absorbs moisture from the air. Over time that lowers its boiling point and lets corrosion start inside the system.
That is why brake fluid is changed by time, not by mileage. A car that is barely driven still needs it done on schedule.
We change coolant, brake fluid and transmission fluid on their real intervals as part of scheduled factory maintenance.

Street, spirited or track
The right brake parts depend on how the car is used.
OEM or approved parts
OEM or manufacturer-approved pads and rotors, replaced when measurements say so.
Matched upgrades
Pads, rotors, lines and fluid chosen for your use.
Track preparation
Safety equipment, cooling and inspection for lapping days and time attack.
Questions drivers ask
How do I know my brake pads are worn?
Most European cars have wear sensors that light a warning on the dash. Squealing, a longer pedal or a pull under braking are also signs. Measuring is the only way to know how much life is left.
Do rotors always need replacing with pads?
No. Rotors are measured against their minimum thickness. We replace parts when needed, never before.
Why does brake fluid need changing?
Brake fluid absorbs moisture over time, which lowers its boiling point and can corrode the system from inside. It is changed by time, not by mileage.
Do you use OEM brake parts?
OEM or manufacturer-approved parts on scheduled maintenance. For performance use, pads, rotors, lines and fluid are chosen for how you drive.
Do you only work on European brakes?
No. We service all makes. European and performance vehicles are our specialty.
